Alright. This is a big gun of a blog post. I’ve been asked to list the people I admire. This is difficult, because I have been influenced by so many people. So let’s knock out public figures. (Besides Steve. Because Steve is a public figure and a celebrity in his own right.) I know I’m going to miss some people. I know this post could piss people off. But the good news is that most people don’t read this. So I might not offend the way I originally assumed. 🙂
What I do have to say is that I see influence in so many people. I admire so many individuals and so many things. But I will say I had a very extensive conversation this weekend about the human condition. It certainly made me whittle down the people that I genuinely let into my life. I have so many wishes and hopes for my life. So this isn’t the full list, but it is the most specific. I wasn’t able to tangibly list why I admire these people, either. It’s a culmination of things. This isn’t the beginning, and it certainly isn’t the end.
Mamacita Schneids. She’s awesome. I can’t really name reasons because I know I’ll miss things. But she IS the reigning Queen of the Northland.
Dad (AKA “Steve”) — He’s a celebrity. And he’s the coolest dude there is.
My twin sister, Erin.
My little brother, Ian. He has always been the golden child, and I have massive envy and admiration for that.
Allison Rose Bacchini — She has been best friends with me for almost 20 years. That’s enough to admire in itself.
Michelle Verstraete Altenhofen — Such an adorable mother, wife, and friend. She keeps me sane at times, and is half of my heart.
Christine Criddle Bacchini — Second mom. Wouldn’t know what to do without her.
Quincy LeAnne Pennybaker — One of the funniest and most blunt people I know. Just so much love.
Thomas Parker Pennybaker (Yes. I included my boyfriend in this post. I admired him before he was my boyfriend. We were friends for almost 10 years before we started dating, and I’ve always enjoyed his personality and his strength. Get over it.)
Mary Louise Weaver (AKA Granny) — This old bat took our family in as her own when we were living in Cali. She is so full of spunk!
Mackenzi Eddings — She is the definition of the word “badass”
Brandon Rohlwing — There are so many reasons why but I am so lucky to consider him like a brother.
Tyler Stratton — As if I need a reason. (He’s psychic and spell-binding.)
Becca Lovano — For all of the nonprofit and volunteer work she does. For simply being adorable.
Chris Kramer — She’s been a pretty awesome staple in the Schneider lives for years, and she’s very selfless.
Coleen Schneider — The most wonderful, selfless, and loving of all aunts (and godmothers). She has always supported myself and her children, and her sense of humor is top notch!
